Forward to 2014 Presidential Election? Megawati Assessed Too Old

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Chairman of the Central Advisory Board of PDI-P, Taufik Kiemas said, Megawati Sukarnoputri was too old to participate in the presidential election in 2014. He suggested that it is time to promote the younger generation.

''I personally, better regeneration. Better mother (Megawati) think first to come forward. For age 68 began in 2014. Thus, regeneration is more important than our own progress,''he said at the capitol, Jakarta, Monday (24/10).

According to him, regeneration is the hardest thing to do in Indonesia. He refers to the incident in 1998 when Soeharto stepped down from his post as head of state. '

'Pak Harto fortunately there is a P4. Kaderisasinya appears there is fighting fit, Gus Dur and Megawati. There are factors in the military during his spring. Plus Amin Rais and the Sultan. In 2014 who? Which generally is 70 years old, that if alive,''said the chairman of the MPR.

''People are now better party relented, keeping the Unitary Republic of Indonesia alone,''he said. If it turns out that senior figures re-emerged in 2014, he was afraid that Indonesia will run out of leaders and having a heavy period. Because the process of regeneration will jomplang.
